How my laptop finally recognizes my face.

Libraries

To perform facial recognition via Python, we need to install:

To install openCV, we simply just install it in command line with the command:
!pip install opencv-contrib-python

To install dlib, we would have to have Cmake and a working C++ compiler installed for this to work. We can install Cmake by homebrew in command line:

Performing Facial Recognition

Import all necessary libraries

Loading your webcam

I then feed a photo of myself as input for facial recognition:

I then give myself a name, in which this will appear once I set up face frames.

You can also recognize multiple faces by inputing more photos and making a list of encoded faces and names accordingly:

Just follow these simple steps, you will be able to perform your own facial recognition.
