THE sustainable brands of 2021

Now we can all admit to buying and being a part of fast fashion. I myself am unfortunately a Zara and Amazon buyer, but I hope for that to be a “was”. I try to reuse clothing I already have as much as I can, but I think we can all admit it’s difficult. So I am here to give you the rundown on what sustainable brands of clothing are popular today to help you make your way to a more caring fashion lifestyle.

I’m going to be completely and utterly honest. The truth is, trends are recyclable. And so while you’re busy trying to over buy to keep up with today’s fashion, you can be more mindful by taking a step away from the computer. And taking a step back into your closet. The most sustainable route is not buying at all. Donate old clothes and start up-cycling or reusing already owned clothing that you like. Work some beauty and turn your oldest item into your newest favorite. Although we have such amazing brands as the ones listed above trying to aid towards the issue today, they are still a part of it as of right now. Personally I find many things in my mother’s and sisters’ closets. Family members who are older than you, even grandmas, will have items that may have been out of trend 20 or 10 years after they bought them, but are now coming back in. My suggestion is to figure out the most fashionable person in your family or close life, bake them cookies, be sweet, and ask to steal their clothes ❤.
