You care less about the compliments or criticisms you receive from others and rely more on your internal benchmarks of success — namely, how you feel.

You say “no” to the things you don’t want in your life and shout an, “oh, goddess, yes!” to the things you do want.

You don’t sit around waiting for a text or for someone to give you the green light. You’re too busy living an extraordinary life. Besides, you can’t remember where you left your phone.

You’re both strong and soft. You can stand on your own two feet and you can surrender when it best serves you.

You don’t compare yourself to others to see how you measure up. Instead, you compare yourself to who you were yesterday to see how you’ve evolved.

Sounds pretty good, right?

A woman in her feminine power is internally driven — not externally focused.

Unfortunately, that’s not the way many of us have been raised. Many women, myself included, have been brought up to be people pleasers. We score high in agreeability and want to make sure others are at ease. As a result, we can often sense the tone of a room as soon as we enter it and notice exactly where there might be discord. These traits likely kept us safe in the past, but they’ve also kept us from living our truth and shining our light.

Yet there comes a time in every woman’s life when there is a calling. A spark of desire turns into a flame. There is a longing for more — more pleasure, more freedom, more opportunity, and more power.

There’s a shamelessness about this need because it’s been kept under wraps for far too long. You knew that there was another way to live this whole time. It was like a juicy piece of fruit just out of reach, beckoning you to get off your yoga mat and take a bite.

Of course, you hesitate. This isn’t a surprise. You were warned.
