Revealing My Passive Income For March 2023

Let’s see the cash payments generated by my investment portfolio, call money and writing for Medium.

Besides generating passive income from my investment portfolio and writing for Medium, I have unlocked another passive income source this month: interest payments. It’s not that I was not aware of this possibility but so far interest rates for day-to-day money were quite low. However, due to the steady increase in the call money rate by the central banks, this has become another considerable passive income opportunity.

In the last article I showed you my passive income for February 2023, which was 260.72 € from my investment portfolio and 9.46 € from writing for Medium. Let’s now have a look at my passive income in March 2023.

In total, I received dividend payments of 197.46 €. There was one outstanding payment by the iShares € High Yield Corp Bond ETF of 70.51 €. All the other payments were below 25 € but across 10 different assets.

Looking at the different asset types for this month, Bond ETFs contributed the most by 81 €, followed by Real Estate ETFs with 61 € and Equity ETFs with 55 €:

So for the current year, the earnings from my investment portfolio accumulate to 608 €. Thereof my Equity ETF investments contributed approximately half of it, which perfectly reflects my investment approach of focusing on Equity ETFs with high payout ratios. In this context, I added the iShares STOXX Europe 600 Insurance UCITS ETF to my portfolio, because it shows a remarkable and stable distribution history in combination with a solid performance.
